Artist's Comments

A group of experiments using PS. I wanted to try to achieve an acrylic painted look using yet another technique, attempt a more realistic fur look and play around with creating realistic star scapes. So I combined it all in to one here and had a lot of fun doing it. (Inbetween cursing of course! ;) )

This sweet pair are Ru-Ofanius (Rufus) and Melika from my on line comic. Mel is yet to make her comic debut on the web (although she has appeared in the print version) and their relationship has a way to go before they reach this stage. But the idea was so strong I couldn't resist working on it.

Oh, I must say you did a spot-on job with this piece. I can't imagine how long you must have spent creating this art. You pulled off the acrylic painterly look just perfectly! Excellent job!! :) :clap: :#1:

Excellent work! Looks like you've added yet another tool to your mastery (is that a word?) oh well looks great! The fur looks really good and the starscape is really well done! The setup is really nice, shows intimacy of the characters, comfortable feeling!

This is beautiful... the fur looks real enough to touch, and the atmosphere of this picture is wonderful. :) I'd say you definately achieved your goal. :worship:

It's quite beautiful, I love the lighting and I'm in love with the background. Very nice job on the fur, it looks like you spent a lot of time on it :D
